Terms of use

Who we are

Polycue (the app) is provided by Bastian Bräu Software, Rattenberger Straße 1 b, 94267 Prackenbach, Germany, info@b263.io. Your licence to use the app is Apple's Standard EULA. These terms add what it doesn't cover.

What the app is

Polycue times routines and announces each step. It is an aid, not safety equipment. A cue can come late or not at all, for example when the iPhone is muted or switched off, its battery runs out, or iOS stops the app. Where a missed cue could harm someone or something, keep an eye on the time yourself.

Plans and purchases

Free includes every feature except Create with AI, for one flow. Unlimited has no flow limit and includes Create with AI. You can get it as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The lifetime purchase never renews and covers every version of Polycue we release.

You buy from Apple, under Apple's terms. Apple takes the payment. You cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings, and you ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. The price and the renewal terms are shown before you buy.

If your subscription ends, you keep your flows. You can still edit, run, export and delete them; you just can't add flows beyond the free plan's limit.

Create with AI

Create with AI needs your own API key and account with Anthropic. Anthropic's terms apply to that account, and Anthropic offers its API under its Commercial Terms, for business use, so check that they fit you. Anthropic bills each request to your account, and that cost is not part of the Unlimited price. Whether Create with AI works also depends on Anthropic's service and your account.

An AI model, not a person, writes the flow. It can be wrong, so check a created flow before you run it; Create with AI never starts one by itself. Keep your API key to yourself, because anyone who has it can use your Anthropic account. The Privacy Policy says what is sent.

Liability

We are liable as the law provides. The limits of warranty and liability in Apple's Standard EULA don't apply to you.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we say so in the app's release notes in the App Store.
